Hello there, My name is Ashly Nolan (Mrs. Nolan) and I will be your child's kindergarten teacher this year. This is my sixth year in Arlington and I am beyond thrilled to begin another year here! This website will be one of the many outlets you can look to for information about what's going on in our classroom throughout the school year. Here's a bit about me... It all started back in 2011 where I began my teaching career in Waltham as a Pre-Kindergarten Paraprofessional in an Intensive Special Needs classroom. During this time, I was attending Lesley University to earn my Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education. After working as a paraprofessional for two years, I moved into a Grade 1 Inclusion classroom while completing my student teaching. In December 2013, I completed my Master’s degree and went back to assisting in the Pre-Kindergarten classroom to finish out the school year. Over the summer of 2014, I was given the opportunity to join the Stratton team as a Kindergarten teacher and that's how I got where I am!
When I am not in school, I enjoy spending time with my husband Mark, daughter Brielle, and our little Chihuahua Junior. I love dancing, at home workouts, listening to music, and going to farmers' markets.
I am so excited to continue my work in the Arlington community and I look forward to spending the year with your child! Sincerely, Mrs. Nolan
